The demonstration of Moire effect

Stand in front of the construction with the pattern on the wheel so you can comfortably see the graphics and reach the switch under the circular cutout. Turn on the switch to spin the wheel with graphics. After a moment of staring at the rotating pattern (just a few seconds suffice), the human visual perception becomes so misguided that shifting attention to anything around you find that the perceived part of the object undulates, respectively is moving similarly as the previously observed pattern. After a short time of running the electric circuit rotating the disc switched itself off. For its reactivation just activate the START button.
